What is Spring Health?
Spring Health is a mental health and wellness program that partners with insurance companies (including Highmark) and employers to make it easier for people to access high-quality mental health care. It’s designed to remove barriers like long wait times, confusing coverage, and high out-of-pocket costs.
The mental health benefit connects people with therapy, coaching, and psychiatric care.
Rooted Vines Counseling is an in-network provider, so eligible members can work with our therapists through their Spring Health benefit.

If you’re a Highmark member, you may automatically have Spring Health benefits through your plan. Sessions with participating providers, including our practice, are billed in-network under your Highmark coverage, and you’ll also have access to Spring Health’s mental health resources.

If your employer offers Spring Health as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), you may have access to a set number of free therapy sessions each year for you AND your household members. Our practice is a participating Spring Health provider, so you can use those sessions with us. Check your benefits portal or HR resources to activate your account.
Some employers that offer Spring Health EAP benefits are: Trinity Health (St. Peter's Health Partners), Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase, Target, Guardian Life, Adobe, Pfizer, Nuvance Health.
If you're not sure, contact your company's HR department and ask about the company that provides EAP benefits.

We are also a Spring Health Provider, and can provide services to Spring Health EAP customers.
